"I have had gut issues for some time now. I finally saw a functional medicine doctor and nutritionist. She recommended Elemental Heal to help to reset my gut microbiome. Great Stomach Reset

"I bought this because when I have SIBO flares or reactions to the antibiotic for SIBO I have no desire to eat solid food. This tastes great and provides nutrients while my stomach is recovering. I do make it with almond milk, avocado, and coconut cream because my SIBO is stress related and only aggravated by sugar and refined carbs. I have only had the vanilla so far which is rich and creamy in my creation, but ordered both flavors and look forward to trying the chocolate too."

Taste is ok at best seems to also pass through in an hour so not sure if it helped me or not.

"Same color coming out as going in within an hour. I was in a bad flare and needed a meal replacement that was ok for a UC flare. Other than it passing through my system so fast it did past fast and easy. However only being an hour or less I doubt I got any nutrition from this product but I am not a Dr so that would take some research. I bought 3 jugs still have 2 and a half. So I’ll likely cancel my subscription because I won’t be eating this when not in a flare which I am now on medication and pretty much out of it. Anyone needing a meal replacement during a flare. I’d recommend atleast trying it in an active flare. It didn’t cause additional pain or discomfort so in a flare that’s a bonus. It may not pass through others like it did me so that may just be my body not liking an ingredient probably the low carb diet taste ingredient, but something didn’t agree with me. Otherwise he wouldn’t have passed so fast. all in on giving a three star review because it didn’t add any additional discomfort or pain and I was in a lot of of it and since it did pass through my system, if I had something in my system, it would help flush that out too, so I guess I consider that a bonus this you see disease is very difficult and it was my first time not knowing that I had anything wrong to that point in my life. If you’re ever in that situation, believe me you’ll try anything whether it helped me or not. I really don’t know like I said it passed so fast. I don’t think I got any nutrition out of it. I lost 95 pounds in three months, it was very bad. I literally almost died but give it a try if you’re in that situation. Everything’s worth a go with this disease I find and don’t forget Google AI ask about everything you eat if it is OK for UC flair or UC in general before you ever eat it that’s what really helped me have to stay away from any trigger food drinks, etc. etc. it’s a very long list of those. Who have you see know this very well. Hope it works for you guys like I said there wasn’t any really negative effects other than the taste and passing through fast for me."

Q&A

Hi dear people, i have been willing to try the elemental diet again as i have seen you have this one with low carb. I had been trying one for 3 days 1 year ago (i don't remember the company, it was one i got through my care provider, a medical blend) but i had intense bloating and reaction du to the carbs i beleive (and maybe a bit because of MCT). That being said, i am wrinting here as i am wondering if there is a refund possoble if ever my body refuse this blend. I am supersensitive in consequence to Lyme and Mold conditions. Hopefully it could give my stomach some rest and chance to heal but in case it goes opposite ways, i wou;d be happy if you have some guarantee back. Or if you have any samples i can buy. What is the difference in ingredients bn this and the regular (not low carb) version?
The primary difference is in the amount of carbs, however the low carb also contains MCT and the original does not. All the supplement facts are available on the product pages for each -- scroll down to the "What's Inside" section.
Is it necessary to sip this and, if so, why? If it's a meal, I think I'd prefer to consume quickly so that my belly would feel full. Is there a reason I shouldn't drink it right down?
Everyone will react differently. We normally recommend sipping throughout the day to minimize blood sugar spikes and crashes. For some people that may not be as much of an issue, so you can play around and see what works for you.
