"A lot of $$$ for an ordinary protein product and the vanilla has an alcohol sugar taste. Don’t like that they added me somehow to a monthly auto reorder and you can’t speak to anyone to cancel!!! Email only! I order 20plus supplements on Amazon and never made an error. I hope"

"Whey protein is good. Only problem is there is no flavor option, sweetener and silicon dioxide. We have to choose vanilla or chocolate but if there would be unflavored and unsweetened, it would be a great product."

"Has a good calorie-to-protein ratio and it doesn't upset my stomach. It also has a smooth and consistent taste. Checks all the boxes!"

"It's delicious, and I like that it has lower sodium levels than a lot of other whey protein brands! Less sodium, more flavor?? That's a win for me :)"

"I've tried many different whey protein powders. Some are good, some are not. As soon as I opened the container of this vanilla whey protein, I hoped it would be a keeper, mostly because it smells like birthday cake. I often mix different powders to create the flavor I want, but this one is FANTASTIC as a stand-alone. I just mix it with some unsweetened coconut milk, and it even tastes like birthday cake! I love the quality too, it's the best I've found hands down! Highly recommend!"

Protein has many vital functions. It’s the main structural component of muscles, bones, hair, skin, nails, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Insulin, human growth hormone, and many other hormones are also made from protein, as are the digestive enzymes that help break down food. Our bodies have no way of storing protein, so we must obtain it daily from our diet.
Yes, it is considered a complete protein, as it contains an optimal balance of all the essential amino acids, which are those that cannot be made by the body and must be obtained through the diet. Whey protein also contains a high amount of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) including leucine, which is a key muscle-building amino acid.
You should spread out your protein throughout the day. However, getting a good intake of protein first thing in the morning is important for maximizing muscle mass, so topping up with a serving of Whey Protein for breakfast can be a good idea.
Yes, age increases the requirement for dietary protein and the essential amino acids. As you age it is a nutrient that really needs to be prioritized.
In this podcast episode, Dr. Gabrielle Lyon recommends one gram per pound of (ideal) body weight. In other words if you are 120 pounds and that’s your ideal body weight, 120g protein a day is about what you should consume daily. That can be hard to get from just food, so a serving of Whey Protein provides 20g per serving to help you meet your needs.
