The diet can be a great source of probiotics if you are eating a lot of cultured and fermented foods. A challenge with getting probiotics from the diet is that it is difficult to get the same dose used in research studies. Probiotic supplementation allows for a consistent therapeutic dose.
Are probiotics safe for children?
Researchers have found that probiotics are typically safe and beneficial for children [29]. Of course, you can consult your child’s pediatrician, who can take their health history and individual needs into account before introducing a probiotic.
Should I take probiotics with or without food?

How to choose which formulation is right for you:
